Disbursements:

If your case goes to trial, you may incur the following additional expenses: expert witness fees, stenographer fees; process service fees; private investigator fees: subpoenaed witness fees; cost of trial exhibits; etc. You will be expected to pay for these expenses at the time that they are incurred. However, these expenses will only be incurred with your prior written authorization.

The client is responsible for separately paying any fines, surcharges, fees and/or restitution imposed by the court as well as any fees charged by the NYS Department of Motor Vehicles.
